Accessible Music Production

Unimagined produces accessible music materials to professional standard: braille music transcription, large-print and structured digital scores, and examination materials prepared under NDA. This is rare, senior expertise — Australia has very few practitioners working at this level. We work with exam boards, conservatoriums, publishers, and schools meeting their obligations to blind and low-vision musicians — and directly with the musicians, teachers, and composers who need accurate, accessible scores, delivered on time and on a dependable cycle.

What’s Included

  • Braille music transcription of scores at all levels
  • Advance examination transcription under NDA
  • Standing agreements for repeat examination transcription cycles
  • Large-print and structured digital accessible editions
  • Score doctoring — braille-friendly preparation ahead of rehearsal
  • Peer consultation for complex transcription challenges
  • Proofreading and QA of third-party braille transcriptions
  • Notation software accessibility consulting — for transcription-ready, accessible output

Who It’s For

This is for anyone who needs music in an accessible form and needs it done right — a blind or low-vision musician with a score to transcribe, a teacher preparing for a student, an exam board working to a fixed annual cycle, or a publisher commissioning a braille edition. Whoever you are, the work has to be accurate and on time.

How Engagement Works

For a one-off transcription, send us the score, and we’ll assess it and quote on time and cost. Examination and other sensitive work begin under NDA before the scope is finalised. Recurring needs are best handled through a standing agreement on a fixed calendar, so transcription renews automatically each cycle. Scope, quote, contract, delivery.

For a single transcription or an ongoing agreement, start with an enquiry.
